Writing
I recently decided it was time to try my hand at writing—as well as illustrating—my first book. Capitalizing on my love for drawing animals with clothes on, I set to work on a story I’d been noodling for years: “Mr. Owliver, Magic At The Museum” published by Schiffer in 2017. A sequel, “Mr. Owliver, Missing at the Museum” is currently in the works. The books introduce young children to art masterpieces using visual puns that adults also find entertaining, guided by Mr. Owliver, the night watchman of the Animaltown Art Museum. The subjects or artists of the famous paintings are depicted as animals (for instance, Mona Lizard or Vincent Van Goat).
